You know President Zelensky is playing this scene over and over in his head wishing he could tell those two ass holes this.

Russian military leaders don’t mind casualties if they gain their objective. That’s how they fought WW2. Hitler made a lot of strategic and tactical errors that contributed to Germany’s defeat. But the Russians used their vast superiority in numbers to beat the Germans down.
A lot of the credit goes to Mother Winter and Lend Lease.

By the end of June 1944 the United States had sent to the Soviets under lend-lease more than 11,000 planes; over 6,000 tanks and tank destroyers; and 300,000 trucks and other military vehicles.

Many of the planes have been flown directly from the United States to the Soviet Union over the northern route via Alaska and Siberia, others were crated and shipped to the Persian Gulf, where they were assembled and flown into Russia.

We have also sent to the Soviets about 350 locomotives, 1,640 flat cars, and close to half a million tons of rails and accessories, axles, and wheels, all for the improvement of the railways feeding the Red armies on the Eastern Front. For the armies themselves we have sent miles of field telephone wire, thousands of telephones, and many thousands of tons of explosives. And we have also provided machine tools and other equipment to help the Russians manufacture their own planes, guns, shells, and bombs.

We have supplied our allies with large quantities of food. The Soviet Union alone has received some 3,000,000 tons. Lend-lease has contributed about 10 percent of Britain’s over-all food supply. This, together with a great increase in agricultural production in the British Isles, has helped to feed the British civilians and armed forces. Bread, potatoes, carrots, cabbage, and other common vegetables have been available to the British from their home gardens and farms. The United States has provided a high proportion of such foods as bacon, eggs, cheese, and fruit juices.

Margie said it best. This was about putting Zelenskyy in his place. Which is another way of saying that he's a little too uppity.

Everything is a proxy for race to MAGA.

I don’t say this lightly but I’m becoming increasingly convinced the US should break apart. I’m not totally there yet but going further down this path just isn’t tenable. I always thought the suggestion was absurd due to the mutual benefits of a collective market but if DOGE is going to dismantle the entire federal government structure then what’s the incentive to maintaining a union?

Trump and Vance all upset because Zelensky wasn't "more thankful" and had to bring up Biden and Obama again and how Trump is so much better. Trump is all on Putin's jock. Bringing up all the crap about Russia interfering in the election and saying it was a witch hunt. Of course Putin is going to be different with Trump just because he's Trump. The whole thing was a show for Trump wanting Zalensky to suck his tiny dick, and he got pissed that Zelenksy wouldn't do it.

We could also jettison the dead weight. People think the idea of selling Idaho, Montana and Wyoming to Canada is a joke. Maybe. If I was elected president, it would be my first order of business. Along with selling Louisiana, Alabama, and Arkansas to Mexico.

I know this will make all of our board Trumper cucks excited because they think that it'll be a good thing that the rest of the civilized world is going to go it without America moving forward, but in reality, today is one of the most ominous days in our country's history. I don't say that lightly, nor out of a sense of hyperbole or hysteria. Completely surrendering our place as the premier global superpower will have draconian effects on every single one of us moving forward.

We're cooked.
