Again, I'm relying upon my experience back in the day. We had our license board, not a state regulation that would strip a license.This is a hypothetical. I did not mean to imply this actually happened. But I am sure one could find many cases of therapists being stripped of their license for providing improper care to patients -- almost all of which would be speech related.
I cannot recall a license being stripped based upon speech , but actual concrete evidence of improper conduct like sleeping with a patient or improperly filing for bogus insurance charges.
As an old codger therapist, you should not advocate for conversion therapy, you should not sleep with your patients, advise a patient to commit suicide or flimflam your patients with bogus insurance payment filings no matter what may be the regulations are in this brave new world.
