Funny, I only just now read this. I had forgotten about this.

I don't leave people on ignore.

I've read post from you all over the spectrum.

At first it did look like you were just going to be a troll, but you have stuck around and provided some good points.

When I ignore someone, it normally isn't for their opinion. :cool:
 
Since I had the great pleasure of deporting two miscreants to Super Ignore Island yesterday, I thought it might be timely to discuss the etiquette of targeted personal banishment. I always notify the offender that they have been disappeared. I know some here who reject that strategy. I suppose I have two reasons for the extended courtesy: 1) to notify the poster that they are now screaming into the void when they attempt to troll me and 2) to encourage other respectable posters to feel comfortable deploying the ignore feature in their own lives. I've regretted little from ignoring the readily ignorable and even less from letting them know of their new well-earned status.

I thank Rock again for the feature and my doctor loves my stellar blood pressure readings.
