20+. I ran out of fucks to give a while ago
I'm at 17, including Super himself. I had a little PM dust-up with him recently. No one can claim the guy isn't intelligent with some interesting takes. But the desire for the "last word" is both off-putting and annoying. Information comes at a price there and I've become uninterested in paying the tab.

I don't have anybody on ignore, but I'm good at scrolling...
I had 2-3 people on Super Ignore; but, it effed up the site.

Now I’ve become much more consistent about scrolling rapidly through posts.

If one of the resident ‘Bo-siding contrarians is yapping away, it’s time for Super Fast Scrolling.

Super ignore is a great feature. The need to tell everyone who you have on super ignore seems petty though. Just click the button and move on. I use the feature very sparingly because I actually like having my viewpoints challenged.

And the ones who feel the need to announce their ignores are super-weenies.
Is a super-weenie like a foot-long hotdog?

Which begs the question:
A) Chili, slaw, mustard and onions
B) Pickles or pickle relish?
C) Ketchup on a hotdog?
D) Veggie dogs come as close to resembling meat-based fare than any other plant-based "fake" meat products

I’m thrilled to have my viewpoints challenged. Avoiding that is not why I ignore people.
Yeah, the whole “why are you afraid of opposing viewpoints” bullshit is most often trotted out by the same disingenuous, mundane, concern trolls and flamers who have shown over literally five+ years or more, that no evidentiary avalanche is large enough to change their mind. Yet, I’m suppose to respect their baseless feels? Nah. I don’t need the intellectually dishonest opinions of those 3-4 shit stirrers.

A few good faith posters have their reasons for feeding the trolls - you’re entertained, fine. I use this site more as a information/news/zeitgeist clearinghouse; for interspersed interest in lawyerly breakdowns (though that is fading in an expedited fashion); to occasionally share knowledge in my area of expertise; and to occasionally spit a modicum of my cynical bile, so that I’m tolerable (even pleasant sometimes) to those who care about me, work with me, and need my professional guidance. Sifting through the shit-posting of fake lawyers, and the ilk, is not required for my purposes, nor does it improve my experience, nor can I recall ever learning something of actionable value from these posters.

Certainly that’s not the only reason people put others on the list. It is certainly a reason that I have seen cited several times here though.
