And the ones who feel the need to announce their ignores are super-weenies.

I don't have anybody on ignore, but I'm good at scrolling...

I had 2-3 people on Super Ignore; but, it effed up the site.

Now I’ve become much more consistent about scrolling rapidly through posts.

If one of the resident ‘Bo-siding contrarians is yapping away, it’s time for Super Fast Scrolling.

Super ignore is a great feature. The need to tell everyone who you have on super ignore seems petty though. Just click the button and move on. I use the feature very sparingly because I actually like having my viewpoints challenged.

B) Pickles or pickle relish?

Certainly that’s not the only reason people put others on the list. It is certainly a reason that I have seen cited several times here though.

My determining factor isn’t so much decency as it is, “Does this poster make the discussion better in any substantial way?”

It’s a low bar, but quite a few fail to clear it.

Yeah, super ignore can goof up the site functioning. I moved everyone I had on super ignore to regular ignore and it seems the best balance between not having to read the drivel and board functionality.
