I want to be sure we're not overlooking the extent to which Trump is using Truth Social to manipulate the markets. Dow futures were down about 300 points last night. Trump sends this message at 7:26am. As of now, the Dow is up 207 points.

There's not a damn thing in his message that's factual. And yet, the markets respond. I cannot envision a world in which this type of economic manipulation by the United States president should be legal, but here we are.
