game winner at the bernabeu. what a moment.

madrid were dirty all match. dives and fouls galore. rudiger earned like 5-6 yellows. bellingham with multiple nasty little moments.

embarrassing stuff from the biggest club in the world.

Did you see Mbappe's red a few days ago? That was a very bad foul. Don't know what he was thinking. He's never been a dirty or undisciplined player.

yep, that tackle was about as bad as it gets. could've easily broken the alaves players leg.

fairly early in this match the ref gave mbappe a penalty and rice a yellow card both of which were subsequently overturned.

rice definitely held him a bit but then mbappe twisted and flung himself to the ground, in the wrong direction to play the ball, mind you.

it was pretty cynical. he did not cover himself in glory this afternoon.

Thing is, he was clearly playing the ball right as he started the tackle, and then didn't adjust at all. It's as if he had irrevocably put his foot in motion, and it was going to impact whatever was there. That the ball had been replaced in that location by the player's femur seemed just not to register.

I don't get too worked up about diving. Everyone dives. All the time. It's in the nature of the game by now.

i hear you. diving is definitely a bit of an epidemic at this point.

but there are levels to it....going down too easily is one thing, actively twisting and flinging yourself to the ground like mbappe did tonight is different.

Wish we would’ve gone after Marco Silva as coach. Fulham has been one of the most overachieving teams in the world for a few years now and couple of those seasons in Premiere league was with Ream at CB. So a team with most glaring weakness at CB positions, sound familiar?
