it sounds like odegaard should be back after the international break....but still need positive results in these next two (@ chelsea and @inter) regardless.

gotta start playing better.

city also lost today and looks vulnerable and last week we were better than top of the table liverpool even though we were missing a bunch of players.

neither of them look like a juggernaut. there's hope for us yet. still 6 months of football to play.

We were devoid of any semblance of attack today. We really need Ode back. I like Havertz for what he does off the ball but man, we need a dominant striker….and you know, a backline that isn’t hurt/suspended.
 
intriguing slate of champions league matches this week.

city led 3-0 and then gave up 3 goals to feyenoord in the final 18 minutes to draw. their slide continues. delightful.

liverpool handled madrid at anfield. leading the prem and CL standings. very impressive stuff from slot and his boys.

arsenal demolished previously unbeaten across all competitions sporting. saliba and big gabi pocketed superstar striker gyokeres. we look really good/dangerous again with odegod back in the fold.

city/liverpool this weekend is going to be interesting. city have to be desperate for a positive result and liverpool are rolling.
 
Gio started for Dortmund today, I thought he looked good. Did well to win the ball several times and had some great line-breaking passes. His creativity and vision are unmatched for USA. Barca was just too good and BVB too wasteful with some good chances.
 
Going to Cary Monday night to watch Almost Heaven play Maple Syrup for the mens College Cup natty
 
Gio started and scored for BVB today in a 1-1 draw with Hoffenheim. Didn’t watch so not sure how he played otherwise but the goal itself was huge. I don’t see him starting once Brandt is back but for now he’s getting much better minutes than last season.
