I'm taking the over.Any bets on length of a speech that Trump has said will be long? His average SOTU has been around 80 minutes (his longest to date was a hair under 100 minutes).

I just wish the SOTU was STFU.Any bets on length of a speech that Trump has said will be long? His average SOTU has been around 80 minutes (his longest to date was a hair under 100 minutes).

“… Every member of this House represents more than 750,000 people. They’re disenfranchised if you’re not sitting in your seat to fulfill the role and responsibility of Congress.…”
It is televised on every major network. How am I disenfranchised if my Rep skips it?
My general inclination is to suggest that politicians forego that kind of empty posturing but they’re politicians, it’s what they do. I would rather they skip it than yell stupid shit from the gallery.
Or avoiding doing town halls which is direct interaction with their constituents.Give me an f'ing break. Not attending a speech is not disenfranchising. Disenfranchising is denying a new member their seat for 7 weeks; disenfranchising is calling a recess to avoid votes. Talk about gaslighting! Holy crap!
