Nvidia earnings the past two years have been historic for a comany this size. The ones announced yesterday were great ev en despite losing 8 billion in sales to China this quarter owing to current Trump ban on chips.
On another note, long live the TACO trade. Kudos to a Financial Times reporter for coining the acronym which I am sure makes a certain person mad, gtiven his propensity for name callin
 
I'm very glad the markets are doing as well as they are. It's certainly to my advantage, but more importantly, this is great for the millions of Americans in or nearing retirement.

That said, I'm not sure I've had less confidence since at least 2007 that the markets have any clue how to value themselves right now. I really, really hope this valuation is justified. I can't objectively explain it, though.

Totally with you. I am actually back to where I was on Jan. 20. At that time I considered selling significant chunk and buying back stock after the fall. But I chickened out. Thinking about it again.

I'm sure the leaks happen, but you also have fools like Richard Burr who dump their whole portfolio right before the market skyrockets. I would guess, at least with prior administations, anyone who makes a $1 million move on a single stock is getting investigated unless they make a lot of $1 million moves.
 
One bit of good news re the Big Beautiful/UGLY BILL, Senate did restore the $39 billion in CHIPS Act funding despite Trumo saying he would never allow that. If you want to bring back manuf, forget tariffs and use low interst loans and VERY spefic taqx credits to businesses. If you just give a general tax cut, companies use that for stock buybacks, dividends and other things which beneift wealthy shreholders but don't help the economy and middle/working classes,
And also do like Biden did and make these loans and tax credits apoliotical and give them to both red and blue states.

I agree, but trump doesn't really give a fuck about manufacturing or the American worker.

The crazy thing was the people who made $1 million short term far out of the money options moved right before the tariff add and pause. One turned $1.1 million into about $105 million IIRC.

Ride the wave baby !

Top ten are exploding in stock price with an average p/e of 230 and miniscule dividends...

Those stocks look like they are good to ride for the trade wave until ? Being an old codger I'm content with my low p/e widow and orphan stocks returning 5+% dividends which increase every year
