Study says aging is not gradual and linear

Can you say "President" and show pics from when they start and when they finished? My guess is only DJT's hair is the lone wolf in not graying.

So is it lying if i claim i'm still 45 despite actual linear accumulation of years?

I miss my eyes... The reading glasses and needing more light issues are so damn annoying.. I'm ok with the rest of it
Cataract surgery was a boon to my life. If I was willing to accept one eye being 20/30, I wouldn't need to wear glasses and don't sometimes. Course, that's not all eye problems but if it's yours, you should look into it.

I hope nobody took too much credit for figuring out what living that long pretty much tells you.

No mine is just basic presbyopia. Good ole aging issues

I have that problem but I have just so much more lower back pain then when I was younger. I don't like reaching for the reading glasses but if I got to choose one, give me less back pain.

Dark restaurants are definitely an issue if there’s no little lamp on the table. I either know the menu; someone reads me the menu; or I reluctantly turn on the flashlight on my phone - when I feel like the whole restaurant casts their disapproving eyes towards me.

My brother in law died earlier this month, a month after he turned 85. A year ago he was living the same lifestyle he has lived since he retired, he and my sister traveled regularly, he went out fishing on his buddy’s boat down in Beaufort, he went to the Y to work out 3-4 days a week, was a regular at the minor league ballpark in Kannapolis, and on and on. He had two knee replacements and both shoulders replaced (one of which was a reverse replacement) and did his PT and never slowed down. A couple years ago he was diagnosed with Interstitial Lung Disease, and it really started slowing him down over the past 6-8 months. About a week before he died he agreed to home hospice care. He died the night the hospice folks delivered the hospital bed and the more powerful oxygen machine to their house.

His aging was definitely not linear.

I'm almost blind.

I have an astigmatism, hyperopia, and presbyopia.

My correction and my Sjögren’s syndrome take all of the surgeries of the table.

Lens replacement would help, but it's not covered under my insurance except for cataracts.

Moving on in my early 70's, I feel it. Thats okay i adjust
Luckily 5-6 hour drives still "safe"
