Music is subjective, visual performance is subjective, you like what you like, there's nothing wrong with that. But what seems to be lost on drake fans is that authenticity matters, especially in hip hop

When you are using ghostwriters and just wholesale making shit up, creating personas that are not authentic to who you are and how you view the world, what exactly are you relating to? You relate to bs? You relate to hollow imagery?

This is where Kenny is going to lap drake every time. It's a fundamental aspect of hip hop specifically and art more generally

That would be a silly allegation, so I wouldn’t agree with that.

Luckily for all of us, no one here has made that allegation.

All we have here is folks pointing out that some, not all, of the anti-Kendrick stuff is certainly racist and you throwing crazy racist tantrums.

In a lot of ways, it’s the old MC vs rapper delineation.

Kendrick is an MC. Drake is a (singer who leans hard into being a) rapper.

That is the allegation I responded to in the post that you have such an issue with. The poster I was replying to later stated that he did not mean what I thought he did. So this whole thing is hearing a dead horse over nothing.

I been around for a lot of rap kerfuffles but don’t think I've ever seen a whooping this bad. He just shows up every couple months, takes off the same belt and whoop his ass, then fades back to the unknown
