The Star Spangled Banner on guitar is about what you would expect from a middle school talent show and then it went down hill from there. Really rough. Lee Brice sang a song that I think he must have written for the occasion, something like “it’s not easy being country in this country any more” and it was probably the worst thing I’ve ever heard.

Also they only managed to scrape together what looked like about 100 people for the audience.

To be fair I think most of that is nostalgia plus simply that the whole media landscape is way different than it used to be.

I live in Central NC . There are incredible hunks of our economy that are dependant on Latinos-yea the lower wage scale folks that totally dominanat so many consumer costs
In addition there are sectors-Health Care especially-to a degree Restaurants-that are fuled by great employees that are members of the LGBTQ community
