Best at another sport other than Julius Peppers

Charles Waddell played basketball and ran track but was an All ACC Tight End then played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Seattle Seahawks and San Diego Chargers (his pro career was not, however, illustrious). Waddell lettered at three sports at Carolina. He retired recently after working in business and the U of South Carolina athletic department.

Octavius Barnes and Greg Little also played primarily football but were on the basketball roster.

Highest Threshold of Pain might go to Derrick Phelps. Guy pretty badly bruised his tailbone in the 93 ACC tourney and had some other minor injuries and still helped lead UNC to the 93 national title, despite hurting the whole time through the NCAA tournament. I'm sure there's plenty of other UNC warriors out there, but he's one that I thought of right away.

Which raises the question: who was the toughest of the tough little nuts.

Maybe you remember Chaplain Barker ? Great guy dedicated his whole career to that work . From Burlington 1st Baptist. Our Alamance-Orange Prison ministry group was responsible for raising $ from area churches for his salary.
Now that I have stopped being active in Chapel of the Cross I assume they have stopped their annual donation to AOPM
