I don't want to be "that guy," but I guess I'll be that guy. Can we please stop using "retard" or various, creative iterations of the word to refer to others? There are also some wonderful people on here with challenged children. Please consider them.

Makes us sound like MAGA when we talk like that.

Too many think this is a game of Sid Meier’s Civ. Just click a button and the infrastructure materializes. The complexities of life feel too overwhelming, so they outsource their minds to grifters and charlatans offering black and white answers, but absolutely no solutions.
Even in Civilization you have to wait years to build things. It may only take a few minutes but it’s 5-10 years of time in game. Even more for the great wonders.

I definitely support this request.

What you're seeing is a dishonest graph used for dishonest purposes.

Notice how many points there are per year -- 12. There are lines connecting them, making you think that it's a continuous graph of the market, but of course it is no such things. The straight lines connecting each dot are not a reflection of reality, because that's not how the market works.

So what you're looking at is actually month-to-month variance. But what we saw this week was a month's worth of move in two days. That's not remotely comparable. That is to say, the Trump market crashed this week 15x faster than in any comparable month on that chart.

Also note that the chart doesn't reflect current reality. It puts the low point at 42K, when we know it's 39K. Do your graph with that information, and include every single day's returns, and you will see a very, very different graph.

I didn't see any of those. What is a "creative iteration of the word" that we shouldn't use?

Personally, I have two autistic children and really don't care if people want to use the term as an insult. They're just showing their asses. But I also respect that many people feel differently and hence I modify my speech to recognize those preferences -- as language is inherently a social phenomenon and when we try to use words without consideration of that, it rarely goes any place productive.

Creative words like "fucktard."

I hope you and your children doing well. That must be very hard. I decided some years ago I am not suited for being a father. So, in some ways, that makes you a better man than me. Keep being good.

OK I would never use that "word." It actually has no meaning, right? You could throw any suffix on the end of fuck -- e.g. fuckwad, fuckturd, etc. -- and achieve the same reaction. So in addition to being sensitive, eschewing such bullshit words improves the quality of expression and argument.

Agreed. But, alas, some do not.

Yeah, yeah alt, but what does it feel like. The greatest trick maga ever pulled was convincing themselves “fuck your feelings” was about other people.

This is what we’re dealing with:
“He’s at the peak of just not giving a f--- anymore,” said a White House official with knowledge of Trump’s thinking.

“Bad news stories? Doesn’t give a f---. He’s going to do what he’s going to do. He’s going to do what he promised to do on the campaign trail.”
😐🤬
Anyone whose parents got to their 80's might recognize that phase. The "I'm going to say whatever the f* I want, I'm old."

Well I think we've definitively identified the biggest Trump taint licker on the board. The rest of Orange Jesus' sycophants bailed weeks ago but Silence is still here regurgitating falsehoods for MAGA dummies for us all to point and laugh at.
