Who gives a fuck if any of this is true, it doesn't change the fact that:
1) This was the worst way to do this, for several reasons.
2) It screwed the people that lost jobs directly and those in towns where the primary employment was a government agency with other employment, indirectly.
3) It did impact some services and benefits, there's no possible way that many people were let go and the agencies upended and it impacted no one.
4) Bill Gates recently stated that Elon and his doge shit patrol are killing people by eliminating USAID funding. This was the catalyst for him upping his charity spending.

BUT, the biggest factor of all. The percentage of the federal budget that goes to pay for employees is 4.3% 4.3 fucking percent. And the percentage that lost their jobs was less than 10 percent, so that amounts to .43% of the federal budget. .43% fucking percent.

This is like you stating that your family has to cut back and you decide that not having one coffee a month is enough. IT MADE NO FUCKING DIFFERENCE in terms of the budget, the deficit, the debt, any of that. It only fucked people, it only fucked services, and it was all for show while the idiots that wrote project 2025 work to take us back to the 1950's when White Christian Men ruled and everyone else knew their fucking place.

So, STOP this fucking bullshit argument that any of this is good or made sense. It didn't, unless you are a white christian natioalist and behind the move back to the 1950's.

Had they really wanted to do anything about efficiency, there are way to have done it. The first thing would have been to actually understand what the departments do, what individuals do, the average pay, the ROI of the agency (not always in dollars), and the reason for the probationary employees.

BUT, if they really wanted to do anything with the budget, the debt, the deficit, then they would have started where the most impact could have been had, the military and tax policy.

So, basically your support of the doge shit patrol and Comrade Trump shows that you are a sad human being that wants to see other people suffer.

You can join Silence DoNothing at the saddest sacks of shit on this board. You are a sad human, when you enjoy the suffering of others.

The increased inefficiency, lawsuits, muchos problems will cost far more to the taxpayers than indiscriminate firings. Canceling grants eliminates the 50: ROI and undermines US infrastructure, R&D, product development, health care, and innovation.

Thank you for posting.

@ZenMode perhaps have a read.
I get it. There are a lot of causes in the world. There are lots of in-need people My family volunteers at Feed My Starving Children, non-profit orgs that provide loaner clothes to the needy and other great causes.

The US can't save the world alone. The US can't protect the world alone. We can't have a very liberal immigration system and have the social safety structure we have. Hell, even Bernie knew that. We especially can't be 34 TRILLION in debt and pay for transgender plays for Colombia, or whatever it was.

Changes need to be made and when the educated and intelligent, as @superrific calls them, refuse to be responsible, well, this is what happens.

Changes need to be made
This is correct. The historical record is quite clear that right-wingers fuck everything up. We were at our best as a nation when there were educated and intelligent people on both sides. Sigh. Those days are gone. Some of the GOPers are smarter than they let on, but they feel the need to cosplay as rural idiots (e.g. Kennedy from LA) because MAGA is driven by the uneducated.

The deficits/debt didn't start with MAGA. The national debt has been growing for decades, but really took off starting around 2008 - long before Trump was even on the political scene.

Do you really believe that the average Tea Partier was smarter than the average Congressman?
