I posted when these "deals" were released that people should remain highly skeptical until the actual details came out, and to no one's surprise outside of MAGA it turns out that almost nothing is what they claimed it was. But as you said MAGA doesn't care, they just celebrated "owning the libs" for a few days by celebrating trade deals that apparently don't exist and which were certainly not as favorable to us as Trump and his minions made them out to be.

Trump Checks!!! I've always assumed this is what Trump will do to buy some favorability if things get really dire for him. Who cares about the deficit? Who cares if it's legal? A check (signed by Trump) in everyone's mailbox is the new chicken in every pot.

Glad the GOP is so concerned about government handouts.

So this is what my mom was talking about yesterday when she told me "Trump is going to send everyone a check." I didn't ask/want the details but I guess Fox was talking it up because that's where my parents get their news.

Anyway, I just said back to her "I'm not interested in being bought off by a pedophile." She made a loud gasp and said that wasn't true and that I'd take the check. Told her if it walks like a duck..... and that I'd donate the check to whatever group I thought would piss Trump and MAGA off the most. Got real quite on the phone after that and was pretty much the end of our conversation.
