But, the real question is why will his handlers not tell him the truth? Are they all getting that rich that they don't care if they destroy the country?

The second question is what is it going to take for the cult to wake up and realize how he's fucking them?

It's costing me more than that.

My companies financials for 2015 are coming in and my site was positive in every financial category, but lost money due to tariffs. This is a driver behind laying off 2% of the global workforce. And will be a driver in the expected much lower bonus multiplier. Right now I'm expecting my bonus to be half of what it was last year.

The world is so fucked. I'm really just tired of it all. I want to sell everything and buy a van and drive around aimlessly.

This is the part of Trump I don't understand. Everybody knows that they wouldn't be bankrupt without tariffs, that the country won't be bankrupt. It's not even a close question. It's not even something Ram would swallow. So what does he gain by saying it?

It’s simple.

He’s built an empire by wildly exaggerating how awesome he is, how great his intellect is, how great a businessman he is.

He’s a con man whose whole schtick is massive hyperbole, on the level of a WWE superstar.

And he knows that no matter how much he lies or exaggerates or insults folks’ intelligence, there will always be tens of millions of rabid supporters who adore him and buy his gear.

That, and due to his narcissism, he actually believes anything that comes into his head. Lower drug prices by 1600%? Hell yeah! Won 3 elections by the largest margins ever? Yup! Grown men weeping at my feet and thanking me for the excellent job I’ve done?

The downside is that it will boost the economy while letting Trump increase the national debt. But otherwise, its just fxxx ing hilarious.
 
Trump is upset, but at least he's complying with the court orders. Now he wants to use a different law to impose a 10% across the board tariff. He also complained that the court did not address whether the federal government is allowed to keep the money from the struck down tariffs or needs to give it back.

That is a valid complaint. Too bad Gorsuch decided to soliloquize on old cases rather than address the only difficult issue in this case.

From the perspective of a lawyer, the way Trump has responded to this is nothing in the vicinity of complying with the court's order. If I responded to a court order the way he has, I would almost certainly be sanctioned, and I'd 100% deserve it.
