And my point is that though it may not affect you or terrify you, but there are real people being terrorized and hurt by these actions. Perhaps look outside of yourself for a bit and try to find some empathy.
 
I can sort of relate to where GTYJ is coming from. Just the other day I was reading about the horrible injustices that the Han Chinese sufferred during the Qing Dynasty. It was just awful what happened to the Han Chinese at that time. Brought a tear to my eye. And I am sure GTYJ is every bit as outraged at what is happening now to anyone in America who happens to have an Hispanic appearance as I was at what the Qing Dynasty did to the Han Chinese.

No. I really feel like the massacres, enslavements, confiscations among other actions by the Qing to the Han were much more outrageous. I'm honestly surprised anyone would compare that to what is happening in America right now.

Plenty of vitriol earned, encouraged, and instigated by various parties, including them.

Exactly. If they were actually trying to impact crime in the city they wouldn’t have a deadline but would stay until they make a measurable difference. Alas, the show has future dates already booked. Like the circus, they have to load up the clowns and move on to the next town.

Great message from the Governor. Not supporting the action, but supporting deportation of violent immigrants. Encouraging everyone to remain peaceful but document, and espousing a long term solution to immigration. That will get moderate support without upsetting too much of the Democratic base. I wonder if he runs for President next cycle.

But, farce, they HAVE impacted crime in the cities they've visited - vandalism has increased with scores of broken windows and doors, assaults on law-abiding residents have skyrocketed, listless loitering has ratcheted up, and intentional vehicular accidents have ticked up. These unwanted carnies BRING crime with them to any community they choose to invade.
