Yes, when I worked there in the 80's I remember cooking the beef. It came in 10 lb bags. We also pressure cooked the beans whole then used basically a giant mixer to blend them up. It took quite some time to prep. I also worked in the first "quick prep" store, that was the beginning of the end for the 100% ground beef.Well, it's gotten much worse. Taco Bell used to serve beef in their tacos, not "taco meat" (aka 23% meat).
