First time making lasagna

A few things I would change up but overall it was a success

Beef and sausage bolognese, béchamel, and Parmesan for each layer

And made a quick tomato sauce to serve it with it, though wouldn’t say it needed it

We had some folks visiting from Virginia and so we tried the pork burgers with grilled peaches and blue cheese from The Lost Kitchen cookbook. Worked out well.

Just discovered the joy of homemade tortillas.

Don't think I'll every buy store stuff again. Doing it at home is incredibly easy, and the taste difference is noticeable.

Same, not long ago. Posted in here about it

Enjoyable process and big improvement over store bought. Not sure I can think of a bigger discrepancy between fresh and premade food items

So far I've only tried the King Arthur white masa harina. It's decent but I need try some others

There's a tortillaria on 98 coming out of Derm towards Wake Forest where you get them hot off the press for a few bucks a pound. I've seen people get twenty pounds or more.

None of the Mexican grocers near me make good ones. There is one that does occasionally but it's kind of out of the way

Most are just using masa harina anyways. Freshly made still ends up better

I must have missed your post on it.

Yea, the difference is night and day. I've only tried King Arthur masa harina, too, but I was thinking about ordering some off of Amazon. Let me know if you find any good stuff.
