I still play/sing Hang on Sloopy to this day on my gigs. Played it this past Saturday. Know, I do NOT do it like the McKoys version. I make it my own. It's more like the original version by the Vibrations. They were black. The McKoy's version could be on the other music thread. Grew up in the 80s but my dad always listened to 50s and 60s music. I usually listen to 60s through 2000s. Love Sam Cooke, Aretha, Credence, Beatles, Temptations, Four Tops and beach music.
