One of the things I've prioritized since the pandemic is live music, and thanks to where I live I get a lot of opportunities for great shows. In the past few years I've gotten to see Lucy Dacus, Bright Eyes, Modest Mouse, Lera Lynn, Cold War Kids, Phantogram, Queens of the Stone Age, Andrew Bird, Nickel Creek, The Airborne Toxic Event, The Crane Wives, Orville Peck, Murder by Death, Sylvan Esso, Rainbow Kitten Surprise, Metric, and I am going to see Mother Mother in a few weeks.

Downside is I've missed as many shows that I would've liked to see, but I'm not complaining.

I wasn't a huge fan in their prime- mostly went with a friend who was a big fan. Probably one of the least memorable shows I have been to recently.

I still play/sing Hang on Sloopy to this day on my gigs. Played it this past Saturday. Know, I do NOT do it like the McKoys version. I make it my own. It's more like the original version by the Vibrations. They were black. The McKoy's version could be on the other music thread.
