Anyone see Becoming Led Zeppelin? It was ok but was left wondering who the intended audience was. The live performances and interviews were cool, but I don’t think there would be much new or interesting information for people with any familiarity with the band.

When I was 10 he released Modern Sounds in Country and Western Music. Everybody needs to listen to that at least once.

I'm still hooked on the cross genre pairings and such.

I've posted this before. It's one of my favorites. If you don't know - towards the end you can see Willie breaking up. He was one of the few people who knew Ray only had months ro live,

English pianist/keyboard player Nicky Hopkins was born February 24, 1944.

Great post Nash.

Hopkins was one of those lesser known musicians who made so many other artists songs as great as they were. As well as his not well known.

Here's a clip of him playing what would become the Stone's Sympathy for the Devil.

I didn't see it ... but a music colleague saw it with his teenage daughter. Said it was really "loud". Go figure. They gave it 4 thumbs up.

Led Zeppelin's sixth studio album, Physical Graffiti, was released February 24, 1975. They played this song when I saw them in Greensboro four weeks earlier.

A friend's daughter lived in the bottom left F when she was a student at the Fashion Institue of NYC some years ago.
