"If I knew the way, I would take you home"

Just heard this on the radio. Kinda interesting.

Kinda interesting ??? It don't get better than that !!! Texas blues/rock with a country twist or Texas country with a blues/rock twist...your choice :)

Did a quick search on Amazon and google. It doesn't look like they have a CD...just songs for 99 cents...would like to add them to my collection🤔

It's the modern world. Hard to get used to.

It's kinda like I've found two songs by this one woman. She's doing a different style using a different name and it doesn't have the same appeal to me but I like those two. Wouldn't have had them if it depended on an album or CD.

Guitarist Jeff Beck was born June 24, 1944. Back in the 1970s I would blast this song while flying down Vance, Granville, and Warren county dirt roads at over 100 mph in my 1968 Camaro convertible.

He's always been a favorite of mine and I have a bunch of his music. Going by some of the duets I've heard with him and Imelda May and a couple of others, he's still good.

For some reason, this one always crosses my mind when I think of him. Not sure it's his best, but...

I knew and partied with Gary Daeke at UNC in the 70's . From the resemblance I'm thinking he had to be Paul's brother. Knew some other Henderson guys; Johnny Perdue, and another, Mike Clark(?) maybe? Big time "business man" on campus who underwent a religious revelation and iirc became a preacher. Interesting people. Interesting memories.

Yep, Garry is Paul's younger brother. He retired recently and has been serving on the Henderson City Council for several years.
