Wife: “Did you go to the store yet?”
Me: “Yes”
Wife: “Did you the things we need?”
Me: “Yes, Gin, Scotch and Brandy”
Wife: “No! Dumbass! Bread, milk, eggs… you know… the things we need! You’d better go back to the store!”
Me: “You’re right. I forgot the Vodka”

Raleigh office of the National Weather Service cut back the freezing rain totals for the Triangle. Seems they are thinking the heavier precip will be to the north and that we'll see snow and sleet to start. I watched Greg Fishel's latest video on Facebook and it seemed he thinks the freezing rain will be worse south of the Triangle.

I'm thinking this thing will be a minor inconvenience from Raleigh to the south. Storm is taking its time which will allow warm air to work in. Looks like most of what falls in the eastern half of the state will be plain rain. Will be rougher around the Triad though.

I went to Costco yesterday, not even thinking about the weather, I go each week and get gas at the same time.

The line to turn in the primary entrance was all the way to the highway, over 1/4 mile. I just passed them all to go to the back entrance which no one seems to know about.

Of course there was absolutely no bottled water, no bread, almost no milk and eggs. Thankfully I didn't need any of those things.

But I did get some Salmon, brussels sprouts, and limes for my Gin and tonic.

Come to think... I have some really nice whisky if things get bad.

I poured out my wife's vodka, I hope she doesn't want any. :)

Ultimate Raleigh would be some mild flakes, a teeny bit of sleet, then cries from Wake county schools regarding freeze/thaw/freeze road hazards despite bone dry roads which closes school Tuesday/Wednesday
