Wife's fam. has a cabin half way up Roan Mountain on the Tenn. side. Solid 20-25 degrees cooler up there.
I spent all of my childhood summers there. My grandparents built a huge house in a development called “Roanwood” up around 4000 feet.

Booked a trip to Vermont this weekend for our anniversary… first time away since we had our second kid. And it’s going to be hotter on Lake Champlain than it is in Winston 😭😭😭

I was in upstate NY yrs ago when it was in the upper 90s
The power grid was just not set up for all that ...............

Why Is California So Chilly This Summer?​

It’s been so cold in San Francisco, painters on the Golden Gate Bridge had to break out heaters.
