There was snow this morning at our place in Seven Devils NC. Ended up being trace amounts sticking by lunchtime.

I have never seen a drop like this...I mean there are days when it drops all day, the high is at midnight, etc. Those are neat. But this? Have never seen it before.
I swear I just saw some flakes in OC....

Here's my house, today....look at the 9 AM drop. It's like Trump approval ratings

Went from 70 this morning to 40 now. That's a strong cold front.

We are now in a Level 4 risk area for Monday. This is not common at all. Take this threat seriously! The probability of damaging straight line winds is 60% within 25 miles of a point, which is 240 times the probability on any given day in this part of NC this time of year. Tornados with wind gusts as high as 111-135 mph are possible. Remember that these probabilities are within 25 miles of a point, which means the probability at a given point is much lower. That is where the science is now. If a warning is issued for your area, go to your safe spot. And if nothing happens? Don't be mad, be thankful. And if something does happen, you've given you or your family the best chance to survive. If you're one of those folks who complains that you were inconvenienced for 30 ,minutes because you went to your interior closet and nothing happened, don't look for any sympathy from me. Next update tomorrow morning, early.
