Exactly where is the evidence that any of the money they are freezing is wasteful? Do you think money to help people have clean water is wasteful? Do you think money to help people grow food and not starve is wasteful? Do you think programs to keep diseases from spreading and killing people are wasteful? Because that is what has been cut. Also, it's illegal.

DOGE is cutting with a chain saw. You applaud that because you are either ignorant or such a MAGA partisan or both.

When DOGE fires critical employees and then has to rehire them - that’s not efficiency. It’s not cost-effective.

I’m willing to say the government has some inefficiencies and some waste and fraud.

Let’s find it and eliminate it.

DOGE and Project 2025 are NOT doing that.

This 100%. DOGE is slashing and burning a forest without replanting anything! At some point it’s going to cause massive issues. The prudent and smart thing to do would be to selectively cut pieces. It’s sad honestly.

I’ve posted this before, but the ONLY way to eliminate fraud is thru an audit function. Indiscriminately cutting cost is NOT going to work. Unless, of course, your goal is to eliminate these programs. And all of you stupid Trump supporters are going to wind up ruing these cuts. Of course, you don’t know enough about how our government functions to be able to make observations on what musk is doing. But that’s okay, because you and your loved ones are to pay a heavy price one day.

I don't agree with every single one of the programs Doge is cutting. I do agree with many of them and do agree with the impetus to make those cuts.

I certainly don't know enough about each of the departments and programs cut. I think the process of cutting and then adding back if there is a mistake is probably the best of some imperfect options.

gt hasn’t been directly affected, so your contentions don’t exist in his world.

gt isn’t here to learn or make sound arguments; he hasn’t for many years. He’s here to twist threads into knots. He just claimed to believe musk’s “wall of receipts”. That list has been shredded into confetti by investigative journalists (bc musk lies nearly as much as Don), and repeatedly reduced by MANY billions, because, oopsie, those were the nuclear guys, or, oopsie, that was one too many zeros.
