Not sure what you're asking here. Are you asking how outsiders can facilitate internal change? If so, I don't know that outsiders can, in any meaningful way, facilitate such a change any more than the Christian "reformation" came as a result of external influences.

I agree that some people can't be fixed. And this isn't about changing minds at the level of "people in power" in Muslim extremist countries. What I am talking about is in regards to changing hearts and minds at the "street" level. And that is done more successfully through inclusion than exclusion. Once someone is radicalized, I agree with your point. Before the moment of radicalization, though, the United States being a Beacon on a Hill has value. Right now, I'm not seeing that beacon, to be honest.
 
Im impressed he can do 315. I cant. I dont ever do 1 rep maxes but I would probably be at about 265 or 275.

I agree 100% and with the many cultural differences, inclusion is effective. Religious fundamentalists of many types are the exception.

There are plenty of liberal, Muslim majority countries. I have little concern about immigrants from those countries. If anything, I'd be more concerned about them being radicalized in the US.
 
He didn't come close to keeping his butt down like he kept yelling to himself and he was dangerously close to tipping with improper spotting. Plus, I always think you should do two lifts for a max, not 1. But yeah, he clearly is stronger than your average secretary of war (although I bet Lloyd Austin could put up some weight back in the day).
