Nobody is worked into a lather, my friend. It’s just really fun being able to point out Republican hypocrisy- you of all people should know how deeply satisfying it is to point out hypocrisy- and those particular social media accounts- particularly Conway, a brilliant and staunch conservative- do a great job of articulating it.
Oh this board is in a lather. and lol at george conway that is about as effective and useless as mamories on a bull (sorry 4thgen).

In the sense that liberal policies and being soft on crime created both situations.
That's sort of forcing a square peg in a round hole, in my opinion.

Also, you noted earlier that my opinion was formed by what I consume. Which is true.

But that is true for everyone. The only ones that are a problem, in my opinion, are those that consume nothing and speak from pure ignorance.

I read things across the spectrum, I was burned when I was younger by believe because it fit my worldview, so I make sure to look for opposing information.

I've listened to interviews with noted conservative economist that said the way trump is handling tariffs is bad and the two I've recently listened to were both in support of the use of tariffs, just not how trump is using them. Also listened to an interview today with a, as he described it, constitutional conservative and he was against the approach that trump is taking with the FBI and the Justice department.

And to say that all people who are center to left are just living in an echo chamber is ridiculous. I've listened to multiple liberals that talk about the mistakes the party made and the changes the party needs.

You also mentioned morality earlier. Please explain how a man who's had multiple divorces, cheated on multiple wives, paid for sex, been accused of multiple rapes, been accused of being a pedophile, and the list goes on, is in anyway considered moral?

Here is the plan. Make a big show and when the crime rate continues to decrease claim that it is all because of Trump.
No doubt. Right now they're all ridiculing and disbelieving the multiple statistics showing that crime has been steadily dropping in DC and in our cities generally, but as soon as some data is out showing that crime has declined in DC since Trump deployed the troops they'll be all over that like Dear Leader eating a bucket of KFC, and will trumpet it as a sign of Trump's brilliant success in cutting the crime rate in DC - which was already in decline. And their skepticism and dismissal of the crime statistics will abruptly vanish. What a world we live in.

You spelled “law enforcement leadership has been fudging data” wrong.

Looking at a live feed of Union Station. Looking good! No homeless tents, no beggars or trash.

Is is possible that the reason that you don’t like Conway is because he’s a fellow conservative who tells uncomfortable truths about Trumpism and points out Trumpian hypocrisy? Conway is a staunch conservative ideologically and, I believe, rigid Constitutionalist, so I have to imagine you’d have lots of policy agreement with him. And so, if your dislike or dismissing of Conway is due to his calling out Trump, wouldn’t that make you exactly like many of the liberals here on this board whom you chide for being sheep and opposing anyone who dares speak out against the Democratic party line?

But you are believing there is no need for trump to involve himself based on what? A failed politician's claim? Random media that has proven they can lie to you and you will believe it without question? Sorry, but a first hand account from a police source living it every day carries more weight.......unless what that eyewitness says something that contradicts your political agenda and then he is unreliable.
I am "believing" that Trump didn't need to be involved because no one in an elected position to speak for the people of DC asked for federal assistance. I think the application of federal force should be based on clear and present danger. I do not think a "police source living it every day" meets that bar. I don't think the available statistics meet that bar, I don't think available facts meet that bar. What's the bar level for you to allow federal force in any town?

In the mind of MAGA perhaps, where there is no nuance.

The study mentions "demographics" but doesn't factor race per se into the equation. Blacks commit more murders than latinos who commit more murders than whites. I've never seen a study that specifically mentioned asians but I'd guess that's less than whites. If that is true, I would expect states and cities with the highest concentrations of blacks to have a higher murder rate than a city with a less populous black community. Its also common sense that less accountability equals more crime than higher levels of accountability. Again, not mentioned in that article.

1. more people should seek opposing views as you do.
2.my comment on the echo chamber applied to this board.
3.I don't believe trump to be a moral person, nor have I ever claimed he was. In fact I'm often on record on this board acknowledging his failed moral state.
