For a guy who is ALWAYS wrong about EVERYTHING, you sure do have a cheery demeanor.

The president of the United States should never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever even joke about unleashing "the department of war" on an American city -- or for that matter, anywhere else.

I agree. There are a LOT of things Trump shouldn't say or do, but he's not declaring war on America.

Alcindor attempted to respond, but Trump told her to listen.

"Be quiet, listen! You don’t listen! You never listen. That’s why you’re second-rate. We’re not going to war. We’re gonna clean up our cities. We’re gonna clean them up, so they don’t kill five people every weekend," he said. "That’s not war, that’s common sense."

Actual shooting wars have been started over less. There is no reasonable way to interpret that tweet as suggesting anything other than war on Chicago. It might not be a war as in call in the fighter jets and bombers, but there are many types of wars. Occupation, for instance.

If he actually walks something back, which is essentially admitting he screwed up, I think it means something coming from the most narcissistic man on the planet.

And where did he actually walk something back? He contradicted himself and made it seem like everyone was an idiot for lying about what he said/tweeted in the first place.
