President Trump fired the country’s senior military officer on Friday after weeks of turmoil at the Pentagon, injecting politics into selecting the nation’s top military leader.

Gen. Charles Q. Brown Jr., a four-star fighter pilot known as C.Q. who became only the second African American to hold the chairman’s job, is to be replaced by a retired three-star Air Force general, John D. Caine, who endeared himself to the president when they met in Iraq six years ago.

“Today, I am honored to announce that I am nominating Air Force Lieutenant General Dan ‘Razin’ Caine to be the next Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff,” Mr. Trump said in a message on Truth Social. “General Caine is an accomplished pilot, national security expert, successful entrepreneur, and a ‘warfighter’ with significant interagency and special operations experience.”

Joint Chiefs chairmen traditionally remain in place as administrations change, regardless of the president’s political party. But current White House and Pentagon officials said they wanted to appoint their own top leaders.

The decision to fire General Brown reflects Mr. Trump’s insistence that the military’s leadership is too mired in diversity issues, has lost sight of its role as a combat force to defend the country and is out of step with his “America First” movement.

DEI this Private Donald Coward Bonespurs!

Brown entered the Air Force in 1984 and served as a fighter pilot, where he has logged over 3,000 flight hours, including 130 hours in combat.
Brown has commanded a fighter squadron, the United States Air Force Weapons School, and two fighter wings. One was the 8th Fighter Wing, nicknamed "Wolf Pack", at Kunsan Air Force Base, South Korea.

Yep a draft dodging cowardly POS

Sidenote: but Brazil prosecuting Bolsonaro. South Korea prosecuting their dude.

Granted, those two countries have a little more experience with these things relatively recently than we do.

But here's my point: we're a spoiled, arrogant nation. We've had life so good, despite all our whining on social media, that we thought we could afford to put a degenerate parasite, who openly attempted a coup, back into power.

We'll suffer greatly for this in the end. As we should, sadly.

So as I read it, he was a retired Air National Guard Officer who has never held anything close to the Commands needed to be the chairman of the Joint Chiefs.

This is the real story and should terrify everyone. Specifically, on the same night he fired the Chief of Naval Operations (#1 admiral in the navy), the Vice Chief of Staff of the Air Force (AF #2), and all three TJAGs (the top lawyers of each branch). I think this has to do with the story about the illegal immigrants being sent to GTMO and then almost immediately being flown out of there. I think Trump/Hegseth were trying to do some illegal shit at GTMO and these individuals all said no, even basically evicting the wannabe concentration camp, and got fired as a result.

Fire the Black Head General? Check.

Replaced with a White 3 Star who will do what he is told? Check.
Fired the general that probably didn't share the same vision, replaced with one with similar vision. You know, like sports. New head coach replaces assistant coaches regardless of how qualified previous assistants were. Only in govt does the left make things more complicated or divisive than they need to be

When that vision is racist/white nationalist/sexist, then you end up firing vastly qualified people and installing racist/white nationalist/sexist sycophants.

DEI hires, if you will.
