Fired the general that probably didn't share the same vision, replaced with one with similar vision. You know, like sports. New head coach replaces assistant coaches regardless of how qualified previous assistants were. Only in govt does the left make things more complicated or divisive than they need to be
You’d think Trump could find someone who shared his vision and was qualified for the position.

Politics isn’t my thing…but I do pay attention. I see attacks from both sides that are stated as fact…when what they are stating is completely subjective. It’s sad to see people aren’t willing to even try to understand the difference. Left, right…doesn’t really matter. Used to be everyone would put aside differences and work with as best they could whichever candidate won in whatever political contest.
The analogy of a coach hiring his own assistants was pretty straightforward and understandable to anyone logically…yet met with an immediate negative subjective response.
We had no candidate worth our vote from any party. Haven’t had one in a long time…that’s my subjective view. Yet I comprehend the necessity to accept outcomes and work together to the benefit of all. Seems I’m in a complete minority that is dwindling rapidly.

Whats wrong with his qualifications?
He isn’t a 4 start General or Admiral. Trump will have to waive the qualification.

“The 1986 Goldwater-Nichols Act states that to be qualified, a chairman must have served previously as either the vice chairman, as a combatant commander or a service chief”

CQ Brown was appointed by Trump in 2020 as chief of staff of the United States air force.
You can't make this up! The left trying to smear Trump as a racist but put the guy in a postion, becoming the first African American to lead a branch of the US armed forces. The left isn't very good at this political debate stuff. Embarrassing!!

Trump named a RETIRED THREE STAR general to be Chairman of the Joint Chiefs.

Please name the 3-stars who have been Chairman of the Joint Chiefs.

Please name the retirees named to the position.

In plain English, the President must issue a waiver because the nominee fails to meet the job’s requirements.

Lol, the irony coming from the dei left, are now worried about qualifications. He's a 3 star, let's just blow that off.

Says the guy who supports this unqualified nominee to be Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff…….and supports Kash Patel, Tulsi Gabbard, Kennedy Lite, Pete Heghseth……

Spin it how you like, you read his qualifications. President can waive the requirements thus making him qualified to fill role. Stay mad!

He IS underqualified for the role. You may not care - and that's fine. But it's an important position that could have ramifications for the entire military. And when you combine this underqualified JOINT CHIEFS CHAIR with our Fox New weekend anchor host SecDef and the proposed 8% budget cuts - it is a bit terrifying what state our military might be in by 2029. As others have asked - why not find someone who really IS qualified and also follows your own political and geopolitical world view? The only answer that makes sense is that an underqualified person is easier to mold and manipulate.
