As important as this is, and it is important, at this point, it changes little.

MAGA's are going to vote for him regardless. And I'm not sure if this changes the hearts and minds of any independent voter who was trending 45. I think that if there is any desire to vote for 45 again, they're going to do it and play dumb afterwards.
 
But it changes the media narrative and puts Trump on the defensive. Every minute he is talking about crooked Jack Smith is a minute he isn’t talking about immigrants or the price of cereal. Every media question will be about the last election.

Some people just want fascism. Some people need to align with authoritarians to feel ok about themselves (ttump is one of them). Several of them vomit bosides, whataboutism, and he’llnevers all over this board, and I’m confident they have already on this revelation. They don’t care ttump blatantly directed a violent attempted overthrow of a 250 year democracy, and 1000% will try again. The evidence has been in the open for years; just because the evidence got more explicit today won’t change their minds even 1%. Democracy was never their flavor.

It's also the timing of it. Lots of negative attention as early voting starts. That's a good thing.
