Y'all remember when Trump was impeached last term for such relatively minor things as abuse of power and obstruction of Congress and incitement of insurrection?

But they didn't, because they are all authoritarians.
 
Not so. Republicans will never act on principle to cede any power, because they have no principles except for power.
I meant presidents in their time. Even Bush republicans would likely have impeached Bush if he extorted a state for the release of a convicted criminal.
