Yeah, I did the same this past Monday. Only had three things to vote on in my dead red area, though I was surprised by the number of candidates to run as Democrats for the U.S. House. In the redistricting, our district got made into sort of an angular “s” shape to pull in parts of the Winston Salem area to dilute their formerly blue district, so we have a bunch of Dems from that area vying for the Democratic nomination. We haven’t always even had Dem opposition for the House seat here in the past (Patrick McHenry was our Rep, a very powerful guy before MAGA took over the GOP).
