Slight off-topic but related sidebar: even many of us on this board who can't stand Trump are, or used to be Republicans - or at least may have identified as conservative, even if moderate, and this is something that our board Trump supporters consistently miss or conveniently ignore. At some point, whether it was Bush 43 and Cheney pulling the strings, McCain choosing Palin, or Trump and all the shit that came with him, we decided that was a bridge too far. I believe we had a thread with a similar discussion a while back. For me personally, it was the Iraq war where I unregistered as a Republican and I'm still currently unaffiliated.
In a cult though, anyone not part of the cult is lumped together in the outgroup, and nuance has no place in MAGA nation.

I am shocked to discover that Adam Schiff did not fly from/to California EVERY DAY to represent his constituents, the way the Founding Fathers intended. How many more Democratic members of the House and Senate are failing to return to their "REAL!" homes every night, as the Constitution REQUIRES! And if they aren't returning home, then WHO are they spending their nights with?

I saw on Federal taxes, Schiff claimed CA as his primary reference. I think this had to do with MD law and whether it qualified as a vacation home, since the kids moved to MD to be near their Dad.
Trump lived for years in Mar-a-Lago while a NY resident and only "officially" moved to FL after his 2017 tax bill was passed, which gave Trump a multitude of tax breaks in FL.
