There are still several questionable appointments pending (like Dr. Oz), but yeah, they got the headline Bizarro World nominees (except Matt Gaetz) through.

And the thing that likely derailed Gaetz is that he had been in Congress for years so they know and dislike him on a personal level.

They picked the worst possible people for each position.

A Vax denier in charge of HHS
A lunatic in charge of the FBI
A Russian asset in charge of National Intelligence
And a Drunken White Supremacist in charge of the Pentagon

What could go wrong?

big difference between marijuana fields and fentanyl. Many people die from fentanyl without ever realizing they are ingesting it or without ever demanding it. It is no different than a terrorist attack.
That wasn't the point at all. Do you understand what the poster was saying? If you can't defeat marijuana smuggling by killing the plants, how can you possibly defeat fentanyl smuggling? Fentanyl is much easier to produce, can be done in small underground labs, and much easier to smuggle due to its insanely small volume.

It's a centuries' old problem.

The poet Rumi, who died in Turkey in 1273, included this line in the Third Book of Masnavi, which was one of six books of poetry written in the 13th century:

Fish begins to stink at the head, not the tail.

These keep coming up in many contexts so may as well collect them in one place. Though this report speeds past a mere conflict into something far worse:

So we "solve" climate change by dolling out billions of dollars to a Stacey Abrams "non profit" whose entire revenue, prior to the grant, was $100. Seems legit. This is why most Americans support the sledgehammer actions of DOGE. There may be some mistakes (gotta break eggs to make an omelette) and you can nit pick certain decisions, but he's getting the job done.
What do you think Facebook's revenue was when it was first founded? The whole point of venture capital is to provide capital for people who have great talent and ideas but need money to make things happen. If you want to criticize the grant, then criticize the people involved. If the administration gave a bunch of money to some radio DJs with no management experience and no subject matter expertise, then it would be stupid and that would be true whether the revenue was $100 or $100K.

As stated, your point is nonsensical.

Trump has gotten zero done. Most of what he's done is illegal and will be reversed (unless Trump decides to ignore court orders, which would break America irretrievably and we wouldn't have an omelet at the end). What hasn't been illegal has accomplished almost nothing. Woo hoo, he laid off a bunch of people, most of whom perform useful and even necessary function, and in the process saved . . . $1B. The ratio of that saving to the federal budget is like a couple of seconds to a month. Would you call it a huge efficiency gain if you managed to shave 0.05 seconds off your morning commute?
