I just scanned 10 mainstream media sources. Some left-leaning. Some right-leaning. I can't find a single story complimentary to Trump or his fledgling administration. This is an unbelievable catastrophe from a political perspective. We tried to tell you, MAGA. Hope you don't suffer too much personally for your idiocy.

Kash Patel declines to detail his grand jury testimony in Trump Documents case

Patel repeatedly declined to say what he testified about and incorrectly claimed that he could not divulge it because of grand jury secrecy.

“… “I did not commit a crime,” Patel said under questioning from Sen. Cory Booker (D-N.J.) during his confirmation hearing. “I utilized my constitutional rights during that process with the advice and consent of counsel.”

Patel’s lawyer at the time, Stanley Woodward, was among the attorneys Trump tapped to join the White House as a senior adviser.

But Patel repeatedly declined to say what he testified about and incorrectly claimed that he could not divulge it because of grand jury secrecy. Booker noted that grand jury secrecy laws do not apply to witnesses, but Patel continued to refuse to answer the question. Instead, he directed Booker to review a transcript of his testimony — which he incorrectly said was available to Congress.

In fact, grand jury materials are typically off limits to Congress, and Trump has fought efforts for Congress to review former special counsel Jack Smith’s final report on the classified documents matter. …”

The rate of these questionable orders is so high that SCOTUS wouldn't be able to take them all up even if they wanted to. That might turn out to be a good thing.
True. So far, though, they have been so obviously illegal that it doesn't really matter whether SCOTUS addresses them or not. I can't see the birthright citizenship order getting more than Alito and Thomas' votes, and it could be unanimous. This teacher talk order also constitutes not only content-discrimination but viewpoint discrimination, and would be subject to a strict scrutiny that it could not withstand, not even close.

One thing to remember is that we get to control the venues now. The right-wingers took their bullshit lawsuits to the Fifth because that was the only place they would be given the time of day (well, the 8th has become pretty fucking bad as well). When liberals challenge orders, they will go to the 9th, the 2nd or DC.

If claiming that black people need separate, less potent vaccines than white people doesn't sink a nomination to HHS, nothing would.

In a career filled with loathsome mendacity, that one stands out. Not uniquely, perhaps, but it's grotesque.

Indeed, though Michelle Bachman does come to mind. But Kash looks like a lunatic. Like, when Hollywood directors want to make the villains look like crazy fanatics, they make them look like Kash Patel.

Kross-Eyed Kash is far and away one of the worst DEI appointments in the history of our country!
