In recent months, Musk has expressed support for Germany's far right AfD party, attempted to stoke a race war in the UK, and transformed himself into Trump's Goebbels. Given this context, flippantly dismissing Musk's hand signal yesterday as an "awkward gesture" seems irresponsible and imprudent at best.

"Were your parents legally in the United States when you were born here?" is not a government record that generally exists and it's not indicated on any documents you may have. Ironically, the only people with firm proof of it would be documented immigrants who have *that* paperwork.

I have been saying this all along. It is an administrative nightmare and might be an impossibility.

Maybe for a while you could prove parent’s citizenship status by their birth certificate (if available) and the fact that they were born before 1/20/2025 but in the distant future one would have to produce birth certificates going back to relatives born before 2025.

One thing to remember is that Latinos aren't necessarily as homogeneous as the pollsters seem to lump them. There's a fair amount of Mexican American voters, maybe even majority, that don't really like the central Americans.

But I'm not sure Trump is necessarily going to make that distinction. I think those Mexican American voters who are citizens now and have been here for a while think that they are safe and it's going to be the folks they don't really care for that get deported. But somebody's cousin or somebody's nephew is going to get deported and that's going to hurt.

Funny how the largest, international antisemitism organization on the planet agrees with me. Is the ADL "stupid" or are they "fools" carrying water for Elon as well?

My observation is that many on the left get more exercised by individuals making an "OK" sign with their hands or waiving their arms above their head by people they disagree with than actual anti-semites (leftists) on college campuses shouting "Internationalize intifada" or "from the River to the Sea" in Jewish students' faces.

The ADL has done good work in the past, great work even, but make no mistake, it is focused primarily on advancing the causes of Israel. It’s essentially a foreign government lobbying firm.
