“Staffers with Elon Musk’s “department of government efficiency” (Doge) reportedly entered the headquarters of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (Noaa) in Silver Spring, Maryland, and the Department of Commerce in Washington DC today, inciting concerns of downsizing at the agency.

“They apparently just sort of walked past security and said: ‘Get out of my way,’ and they’re looking for access for the IT systems, as they have in other agencies,” said Andrew Rosenberg, a former Noaa official who is now a fellow at the University of New Hampshire. “They will have access to the entire computer system, a lot of which is confidential information.”

… Project 2025, written by several former Trump staffers, has called for the agency to be “broken up and downsized”, claiming the agency is “harmful to US prosperity” for its role in climate science.

Rosenberg noted it’s been a longtime goal of corporations that rely on Noaa data to prevent the agency from making the data public, instead of giving it directly to private corporations that create products based on it, such as weather forecasting services. …”

Lots of people mad we won't be funding dei and trans agenda crap in other countries. These people are the definition of dumb. We just had an election where voters said the dim party wasn't in touch with everyday Americans and what do these idiots do? Bitch because we defunding dei and other woke shit. How many voters do you suppose were angry to find out how hundreds of millions in foreign aid was being spent under biden and how many support the concept of doge? But you have pocahontas yelling like a shrew at a protest and aoc accusing musk of being a dumb billionaire while being the richest person in the world and actually sending rockets into space all while she is driving that dummies car. Fortunately for republicans, that is the face of the dim party. That is what resonated with voters in the swing states and this kind of crap is what defines them now. They literally lost any control of the government and their response was to double down on the reasons they lost the election to a convicted felon and someone who bragged about grabbing women by the pussy. But remember, these are the intellectually elite so its ok.
