Lots of people mad we won't be funding dei and trans agenda crap in other countries. These people are the definition of dumb. We just had an election where voters said the dim party wasn't in touch with everyday Americans and what do these idiots do? Bitch because we defunding dei and other woke shit. How many voters do you suppose were angry to find out how hundreds of millions in foreign aid was being spent under biden and how many support the concept of doge? Fortunately for republicans, that is the face of the dim party. That is what resonated with voters in the swing states and this kind of crap is what defines them now. They literally lost any control of the government and their response was to double down on the reasons they lost the election to a convicted felon and someone who bragged about grabbing women by the pussy. But remember, these are the intellectually elite so its ok.

Anyway, I mentioned on a different thread….should it not be kind of easy to make Elon Musk a widely recognized villain? We are not talking about Trump….We are talking about an unelected billionaire who was born in a different country gaining access to all our stuff, or whatever.

All the nastiest stuff about the guy. All the things he’s got, or is seeking, control of.

Easily shareable on social media. Incredibly easy. Could put on billboards. Could put on flyers that go on people’s cars at grocery stores.

Easy. Down and dirty. Not some high-minded discussion about USAID. Not an analysis of authoritarianism. Just straight….this guy is sketchy, he’s got TONS of unelected and unaccountable power, and here you go.

I don’t know, y’all. I’m increasingly thinking that brutish, klunky, basic messaging may be the way to go.

I agree. However, it takes courage to openly attack Musk. He has effectively infinite financial resources and the ability to turn an army of sycophantic incel white nationalists against anyone.

Sure. But we could create a website in the next 15 minutes and send it around our Facebook friends and so forth. I don’t think it would take more than 48 hours to be thoroughly all over the place. I’m not kidding.

I do not think I am naive — we are in insane times. Bad stuff can happen.

But a website link? Easy to create and share. Based on my Facebook feed, I don’t think people are that scared. Not yet.

Musk as arch-villain should seriously not be that difficult.

By the way, where is Steve Bannon when we need him? Did Musk’s savaging of the “administrative state” win him over….?

You think its about a condom thing like that makes any of the bullshit spending justified in the eyes of the voters after the last election? If its not condoms its something else. 20 million on Sesame Street in some 3rd world country. Eliminating wasteful spending is a good thing, supported by voters, and sends a message that trump is serious about remaking the fed g'ment. Something he was elected to do. Where is anything wrong in that?
