Yuck.

I drink milk and have since I was a child because my Mom insisted that as kids we drink milk with every meal (we finally talked her out of it for Italian food). But I wonder as an adult whether we should be drinking milk at all. And I would be sad to quit drinking milk, though I only drink skim milk and find whole milk undrinkable now. So I’m baffled by the raw milk movement.

To be perfectly clear, I am not anti vax in any sense of the word.

I was definitely anti mask mandate though. And I do support cleaner ingredients in our food (still can’t believe that one is controversial).

Yeah. I could not possibly care less one way or the other about fighting over what ingredients are in food. I am more than capable of making choices for my family and I of what we do and don’t eat, without thinking that I need to also be able to tell other people and their families what they can’t eat. It’s just incredibly funny how Republicans have all become desperate for the nanny state to step in and regulate literally every aspect of their lives. It’s even more amusing that Republicans have all of a sudden become enormous fans of a radical, far left wing lunatic all because he started tongue polishing Trump’s tip once the Biden and then the Harris campaigns told him to fuck off.

Cleaner ingredients isn't controversial per se, it's just the last time we tried it, you all pretty much rioted.
 
Hell, I am absolutely all for removing all traces of high fructose corn syrup from our foods and beverages and replacing them with pure cane sugar. But that would require Republicans to support removal of tariffs on imported sugar and eliminate subsidies to corn farmers, so of course it won’t happen.

I wouldn't say "odds are" until we can at least specify how the election would be cancelled. It's a real fear, given Trump's expressed desire to be a dictator and the cabinet selections which only make sense within that framework. But I would put better odds not on cancelling, but on trying to rig the elections through disinformation and scare tactics. They are going to turn the DOJ civil rights division into a means for suppressing civil rights.

Maybe if it all falls apart you're right. It's a possibility to keep in mind (as if we could ever let it get far) but I wouldn't say "odds are" just yet.

I know, it was tongue in cheek based upon their sudden lionization of RF freaking K Jr., and now...Bernie Sanders. The same people screaming about how price controls are Marx reincarnated are now all of a sudden saying that capping credit card interest rates is "the top priority of the new Congress." That's so laughably absurd.
