LOL. How many oil tankers are getting through the Strait? How long will we need to remain there to keep the Strait open? What will happen the moment we leave the strait? And will this bring down gas prices (the answer is no). This is all so stupid, and so completely unnecessary. This war should never have happened, and it's been a disaster for us, plain and simple. Much of our right-wing news media (and yes, the WaPo is now a Trump-supporting media enterprise) is trying desperately to point at Trump's dumpster fire mess and say "Look, it was all worth it!"

Oh, yeah, I think we're going to pay a terrible price someday for bombing Iran, although it may be several years away. They'll likely seek vengeance in a planned terrorist attack on Americans somewhere, and quite possibly on US soil. And by the time it happens Trump may no longer be in office and so will get none of the blame for the attack.
