I knew people in law school who used to abuse text books with this kind of megalomaniacal highlighting. I don't suppose people do that anymore (highlight in text books? have physical text books? or even read text books?)

Old joke from back in the day... Q: How can you tell if a Pre-Med has done the required reading before you? A: Because it's been highlighted in black.

Windmills in Pennsylvania are "all rusting and disgusting looking"

"It sounds so wonderful, the wind, the wind, the wind [slight pause] the wind is bullshit [some cheers], I'll tell ya, it's horrible, it's so expensive, it's just too expensive, it doesn't work. [shrugs] All of that to do you know one tenth of one percent

... [tries to tell his Darling I want to watch our President] the windmills are winddd, there's no wind tonight ... no we have to be careful, we have to be smart, we're going to lose our country, these people are crazy"

They come pre-highlighted in some cases these days.

"Trump: Your child goes to school and they take your child. It was a he and comes back a she. And they do this. And often without parental consent."

Often? Is it OK if the school does a sex change operation on a child if they have parental consent? Guess they'll tap one of the biology teachers for that...

Trump your industry is failing, your country is failing, vote for me

He claims an article about him being named man of the year by a county GOP group while he was president proves he was Michigan man of the year 17-19 years ago(???)

I read an article yesterday that said that Trump's campaign has decided to have him extensively campaign in deep blue states that are almost certainly going to vote for Kamala, like New York, California, Colorado, Illinois, etc. Which is a major break with the usual campaign strategy in a presidential election, which is to focus almost solely on swing/battleground states that will likely determine the election outcome. Apparently Trump's campaign is hoping that he can visit cities like San Francisco and New York and use them to highlight the "failed" policies of the Biden/Harris administration.

As one GOP strategist put it, “This does not seem like a campaign putting their candidate in critical vote rich or swing vote locations — it seems more like a candidate who wants his campaign to put on rallies for optics and vibes,” longtime Republican operative Matthew Bartlett said.
