There were no guns down there, the others had guns, we didn’t have guns, and when I say “we” these were people that walked down, this was a tiny percentage of the overall which nobody sees, nobody shows but But that was a DAY OF LOVE from the standpoint of the millions, it’s like HUnDReDs of Thousands could have been the largest group I’ve ever spoken before.

They asked me to speak, I went and I spoke and I used the term peacefully and patriotically. If you look at the Democrats, what they say, you look at Maxine Waters, if you look at Hilary Clinton, if you look at what they say and they don’t put that on, they only put Republicans up. But they couldn’t get me because of the fact that I said everything’s got to be peaceful and patriotic. And we’ll see how it all works out an I think that we’re gonna, we’re right now in another election. We want, all I want is honest elections. I’m willing to take any chance I want honest elections.”

Nobody could possibly look at that answer and affirmatively say that this is the individual they want in charge of the country. Nobody.

Spite is the only reason that someone could possibly vote for this person- anybody voting for Trump is doing it because they hope he is going to hurt people.

I agree. I really thought we'd see a whole lot more January 6th rioting juxtaposed with Trump statements on that day. Republicans that I talk to are supportive of a lot of Trump policies but still like this whole democracy thing we got going. Those are typically the country club type Republicans so maybe they look a little bit further out than the hard hats and holy rollers.

I also think Democrats should be hammering Trump doing stupid stuff sounding like he has dementia. Kamala's starting to get to that and I think there's still time but I think there needs to be more of it.

Scanning the Latino news sources in south Florida, which are usually Pub-friendly, that town hall last night was a very, very bad development for Trump.

I have never shot a gun. I played lots of sports. I went to the movies a lot and watched TV last night. Didn't need a gun for any of it.

If you haven't shot, you should try it. I enjoy blackpowder shooting competitions immensely, I also just like plinking in the back yard. That said there is a gun epidemic in this country and meaningful regulation is desperately needed. I divested my "assault" rifles a few years ago to engage in blackpowder shooting more fully. I know how to use them, if I'm going against the Trump government I've already lost because I'm a liberal public school history teacher and prolly high on someone's kill list, if it's the gravy seals I figure there will be plenty lying around on the ground. A shotgun is all I need or want at the house, I'll take a few with me.
