I agree. I really thought we'd see a whole lot more January 6th rioting juxtaposed with Trump statements on that day. Republicans that I talk to are supportive of a lot of Trump policies but still like this whole democracy thing we got going. Those are typically the country club type Republicans so maybe they look a little bit further out than the hard hats and holy rollers.

I also think Democrats should be hammering Trump doing stupid stuff sounding like he has dementia. Kamala's starting to get to that and I think there's still time but I think there needs to be more of it.

Scanning the Latino news sources in south Florida, which are usually Pub-friendly, that town hall last night was a very, very bad development for Trump.

Absolutely, unequivocally. Ttump is a vehicle of retribution, revanchism. His was objectively incompetent in the responsibilities of the presidency, and the nonsensical word salads, freezes, forgetting names, dates, timelines, locations, suggest his cognition is rapidly declining under the stress of campaigning.

Ttump is a swiftly degrading puppet, whose strings are held tightly by Putin, thiel, musk, adelson, and the like.

I don’t dispute that a lot of people voting for Trump are doing so because he will hurt “the right” people.

That being said, there is at least a part of his 2024 constituency that is voting for him because of vague notions about him making more jobs or bringing down inflation despite his other comments and actions.

Are these notions based in any reality? No. Usually it’s the lowest info voters that say these kinds of things. He cant win without this group.

If you haven't shot, you should try it. I enjoy blackpowder shooting competitions immensely, I also just like plinking in the back yard. That said there is a gun epidemic in this country and meaningful regulation is desperately needed. I divested my "assault" rifles a few years ago to engage in blackpowder shooting more fully. I know how to use them, if I'm going against the Trump government I've already lost because I'm a liberal public school history teacher and prolly high on someone's kill list, if it's the gravy seals I figure there will be plenty lying around on the ground. A shotgun is all I need or want at the house, I'll take a few with me.

Leaving aside the rest of the insanity from the answer, how this part doesn't make anybody's blood boil is beyond me:

"Very importantly you had hundreds of thousands of people come to Washington, they didn’t come because of me they came because the election, they thought the election was was a rigged election, that’s why they came."

Hey Donald, WHY DID THEY THINK THE ELECTION WAS RIGGED? Do you think it's because you and your campaign spent months lying that the election was rigged? This effing coward NEVER takes responsibility for anything. The idea that he's not responsible for duping millions of people into thinking the election was rigged - thousands of them so much so that they came to DC and then tried to storm the Capitol for him - is absurd.
