We have got to be better about identifing this tactic. It is not about being "shameless", is is not about being a "hypocrite.
It is 100% a naked display of power. "I can make rules that apply to you, and you are powerless to enforce me to obey these same rules and I am going to rub your face into it until you submit and just give up trying".
This is an abuser bludgeoning an abused. This is a schoolyard bully yelling "Stop hitting yourself!" over and over.
We must correctly identify the true nature of this problem before we can work together towards a true solution to the problem.
