Yes it has been reported there is an Office of Special Counsel investigation of Jack Smith ongoing. There is also a separate Congressional re-investigation of J6 and its aftermath.

I went back to the Fox News report in August ( I don't watch Fox News ) reports that the Office of Special Counsel is investigating Smith for trying to influence the 2024 election which would be a violation of the Hatch Act.

Sounds like a pretty serious crime and I assume the in depth investigation is still on-going ?
