Conservatives: "NOBODY WANTS TO WORK ANYMORE!"

Also conservatives: "YEAH, GO PRESIDENT TRUMP, ARREST THOSE HARD-WORKING DELIVERY DRIVERS OUT BUSTING THEIR ASS TO HELP KEEP OUR ECONOMY HUMMING ALONG!"

I wonder what the troops actually feel about being used as a police force.
I imagine some are enjoying it, but I would like to think that the majority are not. I truly do think that the percentage of conservatives who actually relish this kind of stuff are a small minority, even if they are very visible and very vocal. As we have seen from at least one poster in particular on this thread, when you are completely brain rotted and poisoned from right wing media, you relish this kind of stuff, but the majority of Americans, even conservatives, are not brain rotted and poisoned to the point where they enjoy beating the shit out of, or detaining unlawfully, our fellow citizens.

Trump is acting under the authority given to the President under the DC Home Rule Act. Not a dictator. He must get Congressional approval after 30 days. I’m not understanding the hysteria.

Speaking of hysteria, the DC sandwich slinger has been identified as a DOJ attorney. Bondi just fired him.
It’s funny when Waltz in Minnesota did this not 1 word from the left or right…

“… According to a Justice Department source, Dunn [works in the] Office of International Affairs within the department's Criminal Division. Dunn's LinkedIn page says that he worked as a trial attorney at the department.…”

“… This is an example of the Deep State we have been up against for seven months as we work to refocus DOJ.

You will NOT work in this administration while disrespecting our government and law enforcement“

——

Deep State is pretty fucking lame if this guy throwing sub sandwiches is the best it can do.

Fascist societies rhetorically cast their enemies as "at the same time too strong and too weak."

I wonder if the troops will be putting up these signs around the District in order to herald the new law enforcement priorities...

So, do you see this as equal to DC?

From what I've read DC police are not overwhelmed as the article states this area is. DC also hasn't seen a two fold increase in the last two years, as the article states this area did.

As I've e said before a proper response, not a trump response.

Serious question - is anyone confident in elections moving forward?

Can someone smarter than me (likely everyone here) explain why there won’t be military deployment across the country, and why even if there was, elections would still proceed as normal.
No, not confident anyone.

Real time update on my MAGA family's opinions:

1. Biggest government overreach in the world: Conservative Premier of Nova Scotia declares that forests and wooded areas are a no-go zone with up to $25,000 fines because of extreme drought and fire threat, as wildfires are popping up everywhere this week.

2. Military being deployed to occupy Americans - nah that's cool.
